The egg is 5 cm in size and comes in white in 6 different colours.

What should you do with it?

1. place the egg in a dish/bath/ where you can observe what happens to it. The water temperature must not be below 35 degrees.

2. pour water so that the whole egg is covered

3. after 12-24 h the egg shell will start to crack, under the influence of the water it becomes soft.

4. once the egg has cracked, pour in fresh water.

5. after 48 h the animal will hatch and grow to its appropriate size.

When removed from the water it will reduce in size to its previous size, put it back in the water.

Such phenomena interest young children and are popular! Experimenting, discovering the world around them is the best activity for little explorers!
